Some weird veggie thing yesterday for breakfast. We were out of eggs. Sad face. Meatloaf cupcakes for lunch. Brandy's had mashed potatoes since she doesn't like sweet potatoes. Dinner for me? Salad and more meatloaf. They had a pizza party with chips and oreo's. I was good beyond measure. Yay me. I even left the honey out of the sauce for meatballs and used grassfed beef.
We got to meet a facebook friend, Farrah! Yay! Tessa made her dad a pink apron for his birthday. With cupcakes and sparklesI worked out but dragged ass. I did the best I could and didn't give up. I think the problem was more having my period than skipping a day. Idk. Next week I won't skip.
Today was a rest day. I read and hung out with the kids. Fried eggs for breakfast. Two meatballs for lunch. Sunflower seeds for a snack. Italian hitdish for dinner. I used collards and after I thought "Doh! I have cabbage!!" Whatev's. There is always laters. Ok. By.
Oh yeah.... Halfway there!!

Whole30 Day 15 and 16 oopsie

Whole30 Day 14
Uhhhh.... Breakfast...Banana and Two eggs. Then I went to work and got very hungry (for some reason, lol). I ate walnuts! Then I went shopping and ate cherries! I couldn't stop! Then I had almonds! Can y'all tell what started today???
Lunch was collards and a juicy choice ribeye steak, extra thick. I ate at least 8 ounces. I was NOT hungry when I came home. Brandy requested eggs, so we had eggs for dinner (hers with a glass of milk and a banana). David made himself eggs, fried potatoes and canned greens. I forgot to take a pic of that amazing steak. I just had two scrambled eggs with garlic.

Whole30 Day 13 and creamed chicken
I didn't work out today. Mehhh. I'll do it tomorrow. As long as it's 3 days a week, I'm ok with that. Also had a tantrum from hell. He doesn't listen unless I pitch a fit.
Skipped breakfast, cleaned, tantrum, cleaned, lunch of left over ground beef, zucchini and squash and half a fried avocado. It was ok. I didn't have egg so it pretty much sucked. And the coconut milk makes it good. Didn't use that either.
Freaky ass dreams last night. I woke up shortly after me and Brandy (?) Ran along rooftop ledges and jumped from roof to roof to escape a creepy bad guy. *shudders*
Rested, because I was wore out. Went to Aldi's for a few thing because the frig was empty. Dinner: creamed chicken and peas with a salad. Banana, Almonds and sunflower seeds for a snack. I'd kill a bitch for a Dr. Pepper and a bag of chips. And a plate of oatmeal cookies with a glass of milk.
Blah blah blah... At least I can poop again.
Creamed chicken with peas (how I should have done it)
3-4 boneless, skinless boobs
1 large sweet onion, cut up
1-2 yellow squash, cut up
2 cloves garlic
1/4 cup coconut milk
1-2 T Oil
Salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, fresh thyme
Coconut flour
In a medium sauce pan, boil boobs in just enough water to cover with s,p,o,g powder. Put veggies in the food processor until minced real fine. This is what makes the gravy thick,so be sure to have at least 1 cup or more. I also only use one pan because my kitchen sucks balls. When the chicken is done, pour broth and chicken into a bowl. Pour 1 T coconut oil into pan, add veggies and stirfry. While that is cooking, shred the chicken. Add the broth and chicken back to the pan. Stir in coconut milk. I tried thickening with coconut flour by making a paste with broth. Idk that it worked, but it added to the flavor. I mixed in the paste, fresh thyme, moar salt and pepper, and a little evoo. I didn't have enough veggies, which is why this recipe calls for more. I simmered everything until tender and flavorful. Serve with cooked peas on top and side salad.
Whole30 Day 12
Missed breakfast at home because we had an unexpected mess in the kitchen! I ate breakfast at Miss Sue's: herb mix salad with boiled egg, walnuts, evoo, salt and pepper. Lunch was pretty much the same, since her shrimp had gone bad: herb mix salad with avocado, walnuts, lemon juice, evoo, salt and pepper.
My tummy was upset by the cilantro, but it went away.
Dinner, fried fish (coconut flour, garlic powder, salt, pepper, turmeric) with sauteed turnip greens and spinach with garlic, coconut oil, salt, pepper, moar turmeric and a small sweet potato with evoo and cinnamon.
Ihad strage dreams last night, creepy in retrospect. But awesome when me and Brandy ran along the rooftops and jumped to lower roofs to get away.
The Ikea catalog came and I am in heaven. I forgot to take my epsom.salt bath and do this post. Ooopsie! Still eating a high fiber diet because I rock like that.
Oh, and I created my weekly menu.

Whole30 day 11
Awesome day. Last night I read up on nerd fitness and made changes. Skipped breakfast, worked out hard. Motivated myself by saying, wait until I'm lifting 25 pounds (dumbell rows)! Wait until I'm dead lifting 100 pounds! Etc etc. Worked wonders. I worked harder, faster and everything seemed lighter and easier. I killed the voice that says "this is so hard, so heavy, Ughhh, etc" and replaced it with confidence! I did stair jump things and body lifts using the pool table! These are from the advanced workout. I revisited the videos.lazt night. I'd been doing some wrong and today I corrected my form.
When I was done, I turned back to the Wii Fit Plus and did 20+ minutes advanced yoga. I finished at 10:30. I didn't eat until noon. Big lunch! Salad with salmon, boiled eggs, avo, cuc, onions, bell peppers, evoo. Nuts and seeds for snacks. Spaghetti with meatsauce on zoodles, sauteed greens, and a quick cucumber salad. Next time.use more zucchini. Recipe posted earlier so I can make it again and find it.
Waaaay more energetic today. Epsom.salt and.cider vinegar bath, coconut oil on skin. Beeed. Tired. Go.away.
Spaghetti with Zoodles
Organic tomato paste
2 cups water
1T italian seasoning blend
1T parsley
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Salt
Pepper
1 T basil
1/2 T oregano
2 cloves garlic, chopped
Browned Grass fed ground beef, undrained, with sweet onion
1- 2 tsp honey
1 T olive oil
Brown beef and onion, set aside. Mix everything else together and simmer on low 10-15 minutes. Add beef, onions and fat. Simmer 10-20 minutes. Serve over zoodles with turnip greens.
Turnip greens, washed, stems removed, cut up
Garlic clove, oil, salt, pepper
I heated the oil, added garlic, greens, s and p and sauteed until limp and tender. Moved to the side of the pqn off the heat and made zoodles.
2-4 Zucchini, peeled, core saved for later.
Oil, salt, pepper, garlic
Sauté garlic in oil, add zoodles seasoned with salt and pepper, over medium heat until limp and translucent. (One zucchini per person.) Serve with sauce.
Habit Change
I'm reading about changing habits at Nerd Fitness. I've picked the one I've been battling with and don't understand: getting tired btween 2-4 pm every day and wanting to go lay down. I don't lay down as often as I used to. I used to spend most of my time in bed, just a few months ago! However, this silly brain of mine sees differently. Silly brain says "I'm tired. Go lay down. I'm going on strike until I get what I want. No energy for you!!!" Well sorry bud-dy... Not gonna happen again! Next time I have that feeling, I'm going for a walk outside! I can rake, or clean the patio, check the mail, or walk up the road. If it's bad weather I can do dishes. I will just keep movng and if my brain keeps.throwing out that cue, I can think opposite thoughts like "I'm so full of energy! I love being outside! I love cleaning!!"
I also think part of it.is from boredom. I work out, eat and clean up in the am. Eat some more. Then I don't wanna clean or I can't think of anything to do, so my brain says NAP!! Funny thing is, I do have plans! Get on the computer and find a new JOB! Instead, my brain is shutting down. Uh oh. I am starting to see a pattern!
Plan: schedule what I want to do into my phone. This works with meals and working out. And then, if my brain cues "I'm tired! I have no energy. I don't feel good.", I will get up and move around! Walk! Go outside and rake! Clean up the patio! Strip Tessa's vanity, etc. Motivate myself with my.thoughts by saying how much I like doing new said thing.
So Ima change this one habit. Yes I am! One bad habit at a time.

Whole30 part 2, hiking and a picnic
I really hate this app. I lost everything again. I'm not fixin' to retype everything. Humph!!
We went hiking. We had almonds, strawberries and sunflower seeds for a picnic. We hiked some more. Brandy helped some kids catch tiny frogs.
We came home, they had burgers, I had left over shrimp. We were exhausted and David and me slept for two hours! I woke up energetic.
For supper I threw leftover steak in a pan and tossed that on a salad and had a really small sweet potato. For dinner we had a fried avocado. Tip? Don't use coconut oil. It foams up and you get mush. EVOO works fine.
Avocado, sliced, pitted, and peeled. I cut the halves in half so it's quartered. I mix coconut milk into 1 beaten egg (Don't eat the cream! Bahahaha) and double dip: avo into seasoned coconut flour, egg, flour. I fry them in a small cast iron skillet, about 3-4 T oil, couple minutes per side until browned. I mixed the leftover flour and egg and fried it up like a savory pancake. Delicious! I'm losing my anger at myself for losing my post, my throat still hurts, and I need a bath... Epsom salt here I come! Oh and we played snakes and ladders, then I realized I lost my post, snapped at Brandy, David slid down a snake, and I said phooey on this. Wasn't fun anymore. Watching Madagascar cartoons on netflix. Oh and one more thing, I hated the fried avo the first time I made it, but I'd cut it into smaller pieces and used cocnut oil and it was a nasty mess. Now I use big chunks and it's nommers. Sorry this is a mess. It is what it is.
