I wouldn't live in any of them! 1-the "nicer" houses would be too pricey and 2-the "scary" houses would be too small and need too much work. I kind of feel sorry for them--they looked neglected and sad. They need love. In another time they would be fine for a small family but Americans are so greedy now that we want big big big even though we really should be thinking the other way (carbon footprint and all).

I never knew houses existed on stilts until I saw film footage back in the 80s or so, but when I was young (in the 60s-70s) I would have nightmares about houses on stilts. I freaked out when I found out they really existed in the south.

I like the deck on number 7... perfect place to sit and enjoy lemonade in the summer...

hmmmmm..I'm pretty sure you live in #8, but that green one is a close second, because if you don't live in #8 i'm pretty sure you'd be delighted to have the green one with the crushed dog under the porch

I'm guessing #8 because I think I've seen a pic of your house before.

If a house is on stilts, and it's not near a beach, then that means the area is prone to flooding - not a good sign. But, if it's near the beach, then stilts are a good thing!

In Answer to your questions:

I would live in # 7

I can probably afford #7

I think you live in #8

Did I get it right?

Ann- Maybe in your dreams they chased you, lol? Those houses are so sad and neglected, and all the new homes are being built out of city limits. They are leaving the homes in the city to die.

zoey- that is a lovely home!

badoozer- crackhead? what? #8 is mine but you knew that

candy-true, prolly seen a pic! that house on stilts is right near the other homes. I don't get it!

foxy- number 7 is right across the street from me, it is a "custom home", and has a ginormous barn/garage! On the right hand side there is a deck with a HOT TUB. I think it sits on six acres or so. That place is sweet. Yes, I live in number 8!

I can probably afford #2 - with a little extra to fix it up cute. I like little Gingerbread houses and keeping things simple.

I'm going to guess you live in #8. Now reading your comments you do.

We have tons of cute little houses in Savannah's city limits like those first few. All they need is a little love, a great "flip that house" project for anyone. Now if only they would clean up the crime downtown - that would make a difference. Hard to say what comes first... fixing up the houses or fixing up the crime. Which would be more profitable. =O(
