Grrr, Argh

Know what pisses me off? All these so called "sexy" Halloween costumes for women. So in order for a woman to be sexy she needs to wear a very short skirt, dress like a little girl, or wear an extremely skimpy costume?

Wake up America and get the fuck over yourself. It's not "drive all the men spitting wild and get your self raped day." It's Halloweffinween!

Scary costumes is what Halloween is all about.

Glad my daughter already knows that.

I was in the Halloween store on Saturday and thought that some of the costumes for younger girls were a bit too much. Probably because I have a daughter!

Zanthera- my oldest daughter picked out a white and green southern bell dress complete with hat and hoop skirt! Is that scary enough? I offered to run it over with the car and paint her face up with tire tracks, but she declined. Darn.

fred charles- i totally agree. some of those costumes are sickening. my girl has good taste. her dress goes to the ground, lol! brandy, however, is going to be showing off her tummy, because mommy is going to make a baby pebbles costume for her!

Unfortunately, Sex Sells. That has become a fact of life. I have to deal with this with my daughter as well. Fighting it seems futile. Instead I try my best to help her deal with it....sometimes its just not pretty.

you're in luck, warts are my speciality. First we douse it with gasoline, then we take a flame thrower to it, by the time we are done, you won't have to worry about any dumb old wart cause you'll need a whole new arm, and everyone knows that fake arms dont get warts on them

Baby Pebbles? Awwwww. What a nice Mommy!

Betty and Wilma wore skimpy outfits, too, didn't they?

You never know in Texas what the weather will be on Halloween. But one thing's for sure: if you plan a skimpy outfit, you'll freeze and have to wear a coat over it; if you have a furry outfit, you'll roast - especially if you made the costumes yourself.

Things like this make me glad I have a boy. He's decided he wants to be (*hee!*) Angus Young for Hallowe'en.

IMO, that's pretty scary.

fyregoddes:my son wanted to be the character from scream, which is a movie he never saw. he just like the mask because it "bleeds". i told him if he improved his attitude at school i'd get it.

i could put a face to the name of angus young, so i googled it. DUH! austin loves ac/dc. never would have thought of that. yours is a creative boy!

I hate that too!! I'm happy nobody is wearing costumes at school...you can get annoyed about girl costumes, but dude! Have you tried paying for four costumes? It's over a hundred bucks!
