For the 4th...

... we went to Galvaston Island. It was rainy and gloomy and C was going to keep on going... I said it was Bruce's first trip to the beach, and the kids really want to go and we are going! So he pulled over and I made him go back out and find us a better spot and he did, he he. There were a few other people out there. I figured it would be cold and the kids would stay 10 minutes and we would leave, so we left C and Brandy in the van.

The water was warm and the air was warm and Bruce spent 20 minutes giggling nonstop. We didn't even notice the rain and soon C joined us, it quit raining and slowly got sunny and burnt us all to a crisp. All except Tessa who already had a nice tan and ended up with and even nicer tan. But we had fun! We were going to go to walmart first and get beach stuff but didn't since the weather was so crappy. We still had fun. Next time we will go to Stewarts beach tho; they have showers and it is cleaner.

Did I mention we had fun? We road the ferry over to Bolivar peninsula, discoved there isn't anything over there but houses on stilts. Nice houses on stills, metal boxes on stilts, gas stations on stilts. And some local bbq joints that we didn't go to, damn him, tho i didn't pitch a fit cuz those darn pills (prozac) are working, and then we rode the ferry back to Galvaston and ate at Marios and had some Italian food. We saw tons of fireworks on the way home, people were lighting them off everywhere. We reached Houston at 10 and traffic STOPPED. We finally made it home and crashed. Tess and I got to see a fireworks display next to a soccer field on county line rd on the first. It was done by some local people andwas better than anything Glendive has ever put on. It lasted an hour! It was great. I guess Houstons only lasted 17 minutes but was the biggest in the united states. Cool. We didn't get to see it tho. I guess they can't sell fireworks after the forth here because all the booths are closed. Kids were upset about that, but they will live.

New subject:
Mackensie, that is the puppy remember? Has a new home. A and L are taking her back to Montana- A's neice wants a puppy for her daughter and we just happen to have one! she is a friendly dog, very outgoing. She is so much easier to like than Rocksy was and now I know why. Instead of buying a shy dog for the kids to play with, they should have gotten an outgoing dog. Rocksy is a great guard dog, but she has an annoying personality. BUT:

• She is potty trained
• a good gaurd dog
• mine

So if he thinks he is getting rid of stupid, he has another thing coming, so there. I am going to call the vet and get her fixed, dewormed again, updated on her shots and maybe even groomed because her soft fluffy under fur is FALLING out at an amazing rate. It comes out in thick tufts.

C was mad at me last night because I beat his score on our handheld yahtzee game (I got a 398) and since Brandy was fussy I slept on the floor with her... and Miss Rocksy snuggled me. Then later she tried to lay on me so I went to bed. C told her to go lay down and she tried to get in bed with him! LMAO...
