I have a bladder infection/UTI and am miserable. I am tired, too. My doctor apt isn't until Monday, and I can't afford to go any sooner than that. It's actually to get my blood work for my lithium levels.
What I have been taking:
Cranberry pills and Azo. The Azo is a bladder pain reliever and antibacterial. The cranberry pills prevents the bacteria from sticking to my bladder. They work as long as I continuously take them, and drink enormous amounts of water. Since I forgot to take them yesterday (only once!), I am drinking the cranberry juice, too.
But I hurt.
I googled UTS's of course, and know what I found out!? It's icky... The bacteria living in my bladder is EColi! Ewww! Nasty! That is just so freaking gross. Yuck!

Ugh, sorry to hear you're feeling icky hon. Here's hoping you start to feel better soon.
Ill proper wiping, wearing g-strings too much, no peeing after sex, not peeing when you have too and holding it too long, not drinking enough water, etc, etc are causes.
Cranberry does nothing when you have it. It is a life style of taking it that will prevent it. Once you have it it's too late and you need at least 3 days of Cipro.
I am hoping you aren't squirting fire by the time you get to the doctor's. I remember my first UTI and wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.
Hope you're feeling better soon... never fun when you're miserable.
That really sucks! I do hope you are feeling better soon!

i've discovered that bladder in fections come about in some ways that I don't really want to think about here
what...have you passed away from this bladder infection? have you lost the use of your fingers? geez....post already. as for me, i've had gas and diarrhea for a week or more. I do know why but I can't correct it right this minute.
