The Big Fish Tale Game

If you are reading this post, please post a comment with a COMPLETELY MADE UP AND FICTIONAL memory of you and me.

It can be anything you want - good or bad - BUT IT HAS TO BE FAKE.

When you're finished, post this little paragraph on your blog and be surprised (or mortified) about what people DON'T ACTUALLY remember about you.

I'm anxious to read your stories and if you are going to do this experiment on your blog, let me know so I can come visit!

Give me your best Big Fish Tale.

I found this over at Artistic Bytes From the Third Eye. Post a false memory over at her blog, too.

Come on Susie, I can't wait to read what you don't remember about me!

Remember that tadpole? Yes the one we found in the mud puddle while riding our bikes to school in Miss Gardner's 2nd grade class.

She put him in that small fishtank so we could watch evolution in progress. It sure seemed like weeks as he swam around with only a head, then that Monday morning he popped out an arm. Two days later the other arm.

The following week the legs arrived and he finally lost his tail. Only to jump out of the fish tank to be smushed by the boot of that mean bully Simon!!

Oh, if only TaddiePoo would have quit while he was a "head."

I know big groaner. It's Monday and my brain is sitting there over on the charger. Take care and thanks for visiting my Fish Tale!

One of my favorite memories is when we went to the David Hasselhof concert together. What a wild night! I couldn't believe you threw your underwear up on the stage! That alone was enough to make the night memorable but when he tripped and fell off the stage that was incredible! It seems he got his foot caught in some ladies undies and down he went! I guess we'll never know who's undies caused the accident.....

Well, it's July 13th and I remember that time many years ago on this exact day that we headed on our trip out west. Remember that cute guy we picked up who was hitchhiking? He was the spitting image of Brad Pitt! We were so taken by his boyish college student sincereness (or so we thought!) and his southern gentlemanly politeness that we didn't know he was a crook and ended up stealing all our money when left in our motel room all alone! I had to wire Stan for more money and he was none too pleased. Then there was that incident at the bar...I won't bring that up because I'm sure the memories are none too pleasant. And that jerky trucker who kept making obscene jestures at us. Boy was he surprised when I pulled out my paintball gun and sprayed his truck hot pink! We were such bad drivers too...I'm surprised we made it back home without going off a cliff or something!
