I am searching for the medicaid office in montgomery county. We need either medicaid or CHIP health insurance for the kids! I found private schools that could work with Austin, possibly anyway, but they are soooo expensive. Around $8000 to $12,000 a year, plus fees and uniforms. Way out of our price range, even with the help offered from C's parents!
I am lazy, sotoday I am going to post an email I sent to my aunt and grandmother. Hey, that's what you get for not playing the big fish game with me! (SEE PREVIOUS POST) So ha!
Sorry I have not contacted you sooner. Things have been very hectec. We only recently got our phone hooked up. WE live 10 miles out of Willis and Conroe Tx, about 40 miles north of Houston. We live in a house in the country; an area that is slowly becoming developed. It is beautiful here. The house was just recently built and we are working the quirks out of it, including spiders and sand scorpions that were trapped in the walls. Icky. The scorpions get about 2 inches long and are not as dangerous as giant ones. We just squish them. We havent seen any since we sprayed for bugs, thankfully.TTYL!!!!!!!
We have taken many pictures of the kids but have yet to develop them. But we will! We are going to get the kids' pictures taken at walmart next week. The kids have already made friends here and are having lots of fun exploring our back yard, about a 3rd of which is heavily wooded. We have a 2 acre lot and have lot of space for the kids and our dog to run around. WE found a home for Rocksy's puppy back in montana; one of Chantz's cousins wanted a puppy and my inlaws are taking her with them. They still drive tools back and forth between TX and MT, but Chantz mostly does local trips. Conroe is a very nice town and has lots of shopping and has services that are not available in Montana. We lived 300 miles from Sears and malls before. That was a real pain. The weather here is nice and more humid than MT, which is hot and dry. We don't plan on moving anytime soon. This is a 4 bedroom house and has plenty of space. I swear my (master) bedroom is half the size of or old trailer! We do not own it yet; my inlaws own it and we live in it as part of C's salary. We hope to refinance in our own name in a few years.
I have a cold so I am slightly miserable right now. I beleive getting a cold in the summer is downright cruel and should be made illegal. All those cold germs should be thrown into prison for invading my body this time of year. How dare they?
Brandy had trouble sleeping last night; meaning she thought she should stay up until 2 in the morning with an upset tummy when mommy thought it was time to sleep. We napped today; I took some childrens cold medicine got knocked out for a few hours. I needed that. I woke her up a few minutes ago, though. I am going to keep her awake as much as possible today. i don't like losing sleep. Unfortunately I can't make losing sleep illegal. I just don't think Brandy would do well in baby prison. The food you know...
Sorry, I am tired. Anyway, our new address is ------ ------ Ln, Willis Tx -----. Willis is a small town that is growing to accomodate the increasing Conroe, which itself is expanding to accomodate the ever growing Houston. I will keep you updated more often, I promise. We don't get a cell phone signal out here, so we were lucky we finally got a phone. There is no cable TV either, which means there is no cable internet. I am currently suffering the the idignations of dial up, and am quite ecstatic to be doing so! We have another phone number we can be reached at, it is 555-555-5555. But our other number should work as well.
BTW, I am on a new medication for the malfunctions of my personality and am feeling much better than I have in a long, long, long time. Thank god for proxac for me, will you? We currently aren't speaking to each other.
Later and love and hugs and stuff,
Dawn Marie

Hi. I should start reading you earlier.
Ouch to all the problems with school, etc.
Wasn't ignoring your game but by the time I start reading blogs lately, I don't seem to be able to focus.
I was out on vacation so much, I couldn't find a computer to play. Otherwise, I would have been here!
Great email - it catches me up with everything that's going on.
And the scorpions? Eck!
Hi there, dear one. Glad you are settled in. But scorpions and spiders? Ew. Watch out for fire ants, too - they especially like to nest in the soil of new developments because it's easier for them to work with. Make sure they aren't coming into the house because they are dangerous to babies and the elderly (people who can't run from them.) I got caught in a mound of them when I was about 3 or 4 years old, and a mean old dog on the military base where we lived would NOT let me run away from the mound to the house, so I was SCREAMING for my mommy, who came running out, snatched me up and put me in the shower to wash off all the fire ants, then she put Calamine lotion all over me.
Dial up? Is that like, driving you "buggy" (snerk)? I would sure hate to go back to that - but it's better than nothing, ain't it?
I'm glad you get to go shopping for a change!
Can't wait to see more kid pictures! Ooh - and house pics, too.
sorry about not playing, Dawn. have been pretty upset these past couple days so it's hard to think of something good.
Sorry for not playing, Dawn, but have had sort of a bad past couple of days. Will try and think of something to write later.
I'm playing! I'm playing! Come see!
