Too bad the people who received MY stuff aren't as honest! Alice went to our old address and picked it up, only they kept my quilt and shams for themselves! She is going back in the morning to get them back!
At least they gave her the doll house and accessories!

I had some eBay stuff delivered to my old address. Totally my fault as I didn't think to go and change my shipping address. They even signed for the delivered items - knowing that it wasn't their name on the package.
Legally - there was nothing I could do without expense, and even then I was told that misdeliveries have some sort of 9/10ths of the law possession clause that is hard to fight against. Basically, the peeps are not legally resposible for calling UPS or USPS, taking the package back or doing anything. They could toss it to the curb if they so desired.
You have to prove that the peeps went out of their way to steal the products vs. misdelivery. It's hard to do.
Of course, there is the right thing to do on their behalf and on yours. But you don't have to hurry or go out of your way to do it. -M
Did the invoice say say the blanket and shams were in there? Did they open the boxes?
they kept the invoices and yes they opened the boxes
they told alice they didnt get the quilt-it shipped by itself w confirmed delivery!
ok some time ago you posted something about that annoying 80's song that goes 'doot doot do do doot doot do do do doot doot doot doot doot do do do do..' or whatever... do u know the name of it?
